My son was resistant to having the eye drops done after the first one burned. After a couple of minutes of him crying Dr Morgan barged into the room, grabbed my son out if the chair and wrestled him down to the ground and held him while they put the drops in his eyes, then said, "you better stop crying, or else we are going to have to do it again." I was in complete shock. Needless to say very upset, this was my son's first eye exam, and I don't think I will ever be able to get him to step foot in an eye Dr's office again. Besides the fact that my son has anxiety issues when he feels he is not in control of a situation, this really put him over the edge. Dr Klein who was the Dr that examined my son was very patient and understanding but I really didn't see a need for the brute force. I myself am a nurse and have had to hold pts down for procedures but have NEVER seen any thing of this nature. It was completely out if control and I will never go back there again.
My daughter has had eye problems since she was born premature, and Dr. Klein has been seeing her for over 2 years now, with glasses and eye surgery. Everything has gone well and Dr. Klein is great.
I had always had a good experience here in the past but at my last visit with my 8 yr old son, I was more then disappointed.
